Sunday School begins Sept 12

Our Sunday School here at Peace is a wonderful opportunity for children to not only learn about Jesus, but to feel a part of a larger community of believers.  Children will learn that following Jesus isn't just head knowledge, but a lifestyle.  We equip children for a life of following Jesus by teaching them how to use their Bible and how to apply God's truth and promises in their own life.  We believe in relationship building-family, friends, and God.  For more information, contact Katherine Richards, Director of Family Ministry (630) 627-1101 x29 or katherine@peacehome.org

Class Assignments

Sunday school is held from 9:15am until 10:20am.  No pre-registration is necessary.  Bring your child to the appropriate grade level class.  Parents of new children will be given a form to fill out.

Classrooms and Teachers:

Preschool 3's and 4's:  Room 111 with Mrs. Patti Johansen
Kindergarten and 1st Grade:  Room 110 with Mrs. Cindy McGivern
2nd Grade:   Room 108 with Mrs. Cheryl Neske
3rd Grade:  Room 306 (next to Sanctuary) with Mr. Mark Knabach
4th and 5th Grade:  Room 301 with Mrs. Kim Ray

High School Sunday School meets in the Youth Room

3rd Grade Bible Day

3rd Grade Bible Day - Sunday, October 17th
 Normally we have our 3rd Grade Bible day in the month of September. This year we have pushed the date back to Sunday, October 17th at 9:15 am for parents and children to attend Sunday school together where we learn about the Bible. Then during our 10:45 am Service we invite parents to come up front as we present each 3rd grader with their own Bible. This has been a special day for families, so we encourage you to save this date on your calendar. More information will be available in our October Newsletter.
