Young 3's Program

    Peace Community Learning Center offers a Young 3's program on Friday mornings 9:30am-11:30am.  Children who turn 3 years old sometime between September and May are eligible for this class. 

     Our Young 3's class is designed to give the young 3 child a low key preschool experience.  There are typically 8-12 children in this class, with a teacher and a teacher's aide.  Children are provided with playtime that includes dramatic play, unit blocks, small manipulatives, and a sensory table.  The teacher plans in themed units and a main art activity is planned, as well as other art media opportunities.  Snack , story, and music  round out their session.  If there is any time left some outside play is included as well.
