Our worship times will change back to normal schedule beginning Sunday, September 13.

8:15 AM - Blended

10:45 AM - Band-led

Children's Church is available at both services for children Preschool through 5th Grade.

9:30 AM - Adult and Youth Bible Studies

Begins Sunday, September 13

Sunday AM Adult Bible Study begins on September 13 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Great Room.  This Fall, our teaching team will walking us through the book of Romans.  Join us as we study God's word together.  We always have great discussions.  This is a great way to connect with other members of Peace.

Enjoy coffee, donuts, and some social time beforehand.

Begins Sunday, September 13

Children's Church

Children's Church kicks off Sunday, September 13.  We have a fun year planned with a new curriculum! Children's church is offered at both worship services for age preschool to 5th grade.  Children are invited to go to Children's Church after the Children's message.  After worship parents should pick up their children in Room 305.  Children's church runs until 9:20 AM, so we ask parents wait patiently if church happens to end early.

MOP Men's Monthly Breakfast

Men of Peace - Be sure to join us for our first fall monthly breakfast on Saturday,
September 12th at 8:00 AM.  We will finish the last chapter of our study, "The God We
Can Know" entitled: I Am the Resurrection.  

Invite a friend and bring them along for a
delicious breakfast and Bible study!

Peace Blood Drive

Your donation gift also means a $29 donation to "Hope for the Hungry" MobilePack for Feed My Starving children on Saturday, November 21 at Willbrook High School in Villa Park.

Women's Evening Bible Study (WEBS)

Connect, share, and grow with us this Fall.  Our Women's Evening Bible Study (WEBS) starts Tuesday, September 15, from 7:00-8:30 PM. There are two options to meet with us: in-person at Peace or online via Zoom.

 

Our fall Bible study will be "Where Love Abide" by Donna Pyle. Inspired by the powerful imagery of abiding in God's strength, wisdom, and sustenance, we are diving into a new study focused on living deeply within God's love.

Coffee Break - Men's Study

Join Pastor Marty for our Men's Bible study called "Coffee Break" on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 10:45 am beginning on September 16. 

For the Fall, Pastor Marty and Jim Wallace, together, will lead a study and discussion on Genesis. 

This time coincides with our Women's Bible Study offering so couples can take advantage of coming together!

JoyBreak - Study for Women

Our fall session begins on Wednesday, September 16 (9:30 to 10:45 AM) in the Great Room.  

 

JoyBreak is our weekday Bible study for women. It is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other women, regardless of the season of life you are in. Feel free to invite a friend or two to join us.

 

Our study this fall will be "The Way of Wisdom: A Study of the Book of Proverbs." This DVD study is compiled by Bible teachers such as Jen Wilkin, Kelly Minter, and Ruth Chou Simons, who will walk us through the book of Proverbs.

We will learn how to apply wisdom principles to everyday topics such as work, relationships, life, and financial decisions, and influences in our daily walk.

Join Us for a Johnny Appleseed Party!

Celebrate faith, fun, and the autumn season with the whole family! Kids, parents, and grandparents are invited for an afternoon of storytelling, creativity, and sweet treats.

Event Details

When:  Sunday, September 27 from 3 - 4 PM

Where: The Great Room

Who: Children, parents, & extended family.  Invite friends to bring their children, too!

Event Highlights

Storytime: Learn how Johnny Appleseed planted seeds of faith and shared God’s love.

Crafts & Activities: Fun, hands-on autumn games and crafts.

Caramel Apple Bar: Design and make your own custom, delicious caramel apples!

Peace Football Watch Party!

BEAR DOWN and Fellowship!

Join us for our Peace Football Watch Party!

 

Why watch the game alone when you can cheer on the Chicago Bears with your church family? We are turning the Great Room into our very own game-day end zone! 

 

Join us Sunday, October 4 after the late service (11:30 AM) for lots of food and fun!  Kickoff is at Noon. We will have the game broadcast live on the big screen in the Great Room.

 

The church will provide Hamburgers, Hot dogs, chips, and soda/lemonade.  We invite you to bring a side dish or dessert to share (sign-up is in the lobby) or email Katherine Richards.  Bring the whole family, wear your Chicago Bears gear, and enjoy a fun afternoon of community and football!
