Lenten Worship Services - Online Only

Join Us Each Wednesday for Lenten Worship at 7:15 pm.

Currently, we are only providing online worship.

We will resume in-person worship services after 3/7/2021.

Pastor Marty Hufford's Lenten Sermon Series:

"He Changed Everything"

Based on "Who Is This Man?" by John Ortberg.

Two thousand years ago the Roman Empire condemned and killed a Jewish carpenter named Jesus. Today the world has been remade in his image. Jesus' teachings have transformed our beliefs about women, children, marriage, sex, human dignity, honor, humility, forgiveness...the list goes on and on.

Most of what we think of as Western values began with Him. Who was He?

How did this happen? Because He changed everything!

Lenten Devotionals -

The Cross Reminds Us

This year, Peace is providing digital Lenten devotionals for our Peace members and friends. These devotionals will be available weekly here on our Peace website to download.

Janice Brauer, Peace member and author, shares what our Lenten devotional theme will be:

Lenten Journey: The Cross Reminds Us

"The Cross reminds us of God's eternal plan of redemption. The Cross reminds us of the depth of the Savior's love. The Cross reminds us that we are forgiven children of God, safe in His arms for all eternity. The devotions during this Lenten season will be drawn from Old and New Testament Scriptures as we reflect upon the wonder of the Cross."

Live the Love -

Mission of the Month

This month we are highlighting DuPage Pads. Peace has had a long relationship with this non-profit organization. For many years, we have provided shelter for 40+ homeless guests each Wednesday night from September to May. With the pandemic, DuPagePads guests are now being sheltered in hotels around the area. Guests still need supplies and your donations can be very helpful during Covid.

You may learn more about DuPagePads by visiting their website at dupagepads.org.

We will be collecting the following items on the following list for the DuPagePads Emergency Response Fund: Click Here for List of Items.

Please drop your donation off on Sunday Mornings or during the week Tuesday through Thursday between the hours of 9:30 am and 3:00 pm. We are more than happy to provide a curbside pick-up if you call ahead at (630) 627-1101

Who benefits from blood donation?

At Versiti Blood Center of Illinois, formerly Heartland Blood Centers, we never forget the patients who receive the blood we collect. Every unit of blood is collected from volunteer donors who meet specific criteria and have been screened according to strict guidelines. Every unit (pint) is collected, transported, tested and stored according to tightly-controlled procedures.

The Path (Bible Reading Plan)

If you'd like to explore what the Bible has to say to you, we recommend our reading program.

The Path readings are listed on a PDF document which lists three months at a time. If you wish to read the entire Bible in one year, read both the Old and New Testament readings, otherwise choose either the Old or New Testament readings to cover the entire Bible in two years.
